LAUD Studio Headquarters – Heritage Hills
Owner’s Representation & Preconstruction Leadership by Omō Preconstruction | Architect: Gardner Studio | Construction Manager: Modus Construction
Details
Omō Strategic Preconstruction Leadership is guiding the new construction of LAUD Studio Headquarters at 117 NW 14th Street, located on the north side of 14th Street between Broadway and Robinson in Oklahoma City’s historic Heritage Hills neighborhood.
The project is designed to reflect the timeless character and scale of the neighborhood, drawing inspiration from early 20th-century architecture and select Rhode Island precedents. The design features brick, cedar shake, and clabbered siding, along with exposed rafter tails and vertically proportioned windows, creating a simple, elegant, and contextually respectful building.
While the site presents a deep setback from the street, this challenge creates an opportunity for LAUD Studio to showcase its expertise in landscape design, integrating the outdoor space seamlessly with the architecture. The building’s clean, functional interiors follow Shaker-inspired principles, allowing natural light and craftsmanship to shine while complementing the historic exterior.
Omō’s role as owner’s representative and preconstruction lead ensures alignment among the owner, architect (Gardner Studio), and contractor (Modus Construction), safeguarding design integrity, budget, and schedule from the earliest stages.
Construction is planned to begin spring 2026, with completion targeted for end of 2026, demonstrating how thoughtful preconstruction leadership transforms design intent into a built reality that respects both context and craft.
